In the heart of the Loire chateaux and the vineyards, Patricia and Gilles will welcome you in their�property of the 16th century. Accommodation for 2 to 4 people; 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a shower room, a big garden and private parking place. Patricia and Gilles, tourism professionals since 1999 have used traditional materials from the Anjou for the construction of this holiday accommodation. Slate from Angers, tuff from the Loire valley, terra cotta and faiences from the small village of Anjou les Rairies, local wood have been used for building this gîte. Hemp, the major element of this construction, has been cultivated in the region for several years. Ground stalk, in the form of small parts of chopped straw has been mixed with natural chalk in order to be used as insulating and decorative layer on the gîte walls.
